In 2018, our parish has seen a movement to revive the Lay Dominican Chapter which for many years was associated with Saint Saviour’s. Lay Dominicans participate in the same charism as the friars, nuns, and sisters of the Order, but live in the world as married or single persons choosing a specific path to holiness. They bring the Gospel to their families, workplaces and social gatherings, acting as a leaven for society. In turn, the members share in the spiritual benefits of the Dominican Order.
Chapter meetings provide community opportunities to pray, study and share the truths of the Gospel and the traditions of the Catholic Church.
